How do Citizen Creative Walks combine art, ecology, and society to foster ecological awareness?
In what ways are Citizen Creative Walks designed as a method-sharing initiative to explore both landscapes and collective intelligence?
As LeCAKE is a project aiming to tackle the ecological transition in the cultural sector, it was making sense to try to gather art / creativity, ecology, and society in one single approach.
LeCake also aims to build methodologies, as innovative as can be, in order to raise ecological awareness to a wider audience.
It is for those purposes that Citizen Creative Walks have been designed and developed.
The partners agreed that this last proposal from the WP4 could be orientated more in a method sharing than in an knowledge sharing, anticipating the next WP outcomes.
Citizen Creative Walks are a proposition to go through an outside space with a group, a proposal to be together in a different way, exploring landscapes as well as our own minds and the collective intelligence we are capable of. It is a space of movement and reflections.
The first part of this methodology will explain what active learning is, how CCWalks are activating it and build a citizenship experience.
In the second part will be given the recipe of CCWalks: how to build one of your own, what are the basis, requirements, needs, spirit.
Finally, the third and last part is a concrete example of a CCWalk, done in Porto back in April 2024, so that any future maker can get inspiration from a real situation.
